App Scale Systems ("we", "our", or "us") operates the Invoice Generator & Bill Maker application (the "App") available on Android via Google Play Store and on iOS via Apple App Store. This Privacy Policy explains what information is accessed, how it is used, and your rights. By using the App, you agree to the practices described in this policy.

1. Information We Collect

The App is designed as an offline-first application. All business data you enter — invoices, customers, products, payments — is stored locally on your device using on-device encrypted storage. We do not collect, transmit, or store your business data on any external server.

Business Information: Business name, address, tax ID, bank details, logo, and signature — stored locally only.
Customer Data: Names, emails, phone numbers, addresses — entered manually or imported from contacts, stored locally only.
Invoice & Financial Data: Invoice details, line items, estimates, payment records — stored locally only.
Device Contacts (Optional): Accessed only when you explicitly import a contact into the customer list.
Camera & Photo Library (Optional): Used only when you capture or select a photo for your business logo or product image.
Biometric Data: Handled entirely by Android BiometricPrompt API or Apple LocalAuthentication (Face ID / Touch ID). We do not access, store, or transmit any biometric data.
Internet (Limited): Used only to fetch currency exchange rates and country/state/city lists for address forms. No personal data is transmitted.

3. How We Use Your Information

To provide core app functionality: invoice generation, billing, estimates, and reports.
To generate and save PDF documents to your device.
To schedule and deliver local payment reminder notifications.
To enable biometric / Face ID app lock security.
To fetch currency exchange rates for multi-currency invoicing.
We do not use your data for advertising, profiling, or analytics of any kind.

4. Data Storage & Security

All your business data is stored locally on your device using Hive (local encrypted database) and Flutter Secure Storage. Data never leaves your device unless you explicitly choose to share or export it.

5. Data Sharing & Third Parties

External network requests made by the App:

Currency Exchange Rate API — fetches exchange rates for multi-currency invoicing. No personal data is included.
Location Data API — fetches country, state, and city lists for address forms. No personal data is included.

6. Platform-Specific Disclosures

Android: The App is distributed via Google Play Store. Google may collect certain data as part of the Play Store experience in accordance with Google's Privacy Policy.
iOS: The App is distributed via Apple App Store. Apple may collect certain data as part of the App Store experience in accordance with Apple's Privacy Policy. The App does not use iCloud, Apple Analytics, or any Apple advertising services.

7. Children's Privacy

The App is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect any personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the App, please contact us immediately and we will take appropriate action.

8. Your Rights

Access: All your data is visible within the App at any time.
Delete: Delete any record from within the App. Uninstalling/deleting the App removes all locally stored data permanently.
Export: Export your data as CSV files or PDF documents at any time.
Revoke Permissions: Revoke Camera, Contacts, Biometric, or Notification permissions at any time via Android Settings or iOS Settings → Privacy.

9. Internet Usage Disclosure

Currency Exchange Rates: Fetched from a free public API. Cached locally for 24 hours. No personal data included.
Address Auto-fill: Country, state, and city lists fetched from a free public API. No personal data included.

10. Data Retention

Your data is retained on your device for as long as you use the App. Uninstalling or deleting the App permanently removes all locally stored data. We do not retain any copies on external servers.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be reflected with an updated "Last Updated" date. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.

12. Consent

By downloading and using the App, you consent to this Privacy Policy. Optional permissions are requested only when you use those specific features and can be revoked at any time via your device settings.
