1. Introduction

This Privacy Policy explains how DIVYAM CREATION ("we", "our", or "us") collects, uses, stores, and protects information when you use the CrickPoll - Cricket Team App ("the App") on Android (Google Play Store) and iOS (Apple App Store) devices.

This policy applies to all users of the App worldwide. By downloading, installing, or using the App, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy.

If you do not agree with this Privacy Policy, please do not download or use the App.

2. Information We Collect

2.1 Device Identifier (UUID)

CrickPoll does not require account registration, email address, phone number, or any personal information. Instead, the App generates a unique device identifier (UUID v4) on first launch. This identifier is used solely to:

• Recognize your device across app sessions without requiring login
• Associate your poll votes and attendance records with your device
• Identify you as a member within your cricket group

On Android, the App reads the Android hardware ID (android.os.Build.ID) to generate a stable UUID. On iOS, the App uses identifierForVendor (IDFV) provided by Apple. Neither identifier is used for advertising, cross-app tracking, or any purpose outside the App's core functionality.

2.2 Display Name

A default display name ("New Player") is automatically assigned to your device profile on first launch. You may update this name at any time within the App. This name is visible only to members of your cricket group and is not publicly accessible.

2.3 Poll Responses

Your responses to daily polls (Coming or Not Coming) are stored in our database and associated with your device identifier. These responses are visible only to members of your cricket group.

2.4 Attendance Records

Attendance data derived from your poll responses is stored for up to 30 days. This data is used to display attendance history and calculate player statistics (streak, reliability score, days played) within your group.

2.5 Group Data

When you create or join a cricket group, the following data is stored: group name, member list, admin assignments, and join request status. This data is visible only to members of the respective group.

2.6 App Preferences

The App stores your theme preference (light or dark mode) and environment setting (UAT or Production) locally on your device using Android SharedPreferences or iOS UserDefaults. This data never leaves your device.

2.7 Notification Schedule Data

The App stores local notification schedule data on your device to deliver poll reminders at 7 PM, 8:45 PM, and 9 PM. This data is managed by the flutter_local_notifications library and is stored locally only.

3. Information We Do NOT Collect

CrickPoll explicitly does not collect, access, or store any of the following:

• Full name, email address, or phone number
• Location data, GPS coordinates, or IP-based location
• Camera or microphone data
• Contacts, address book, or call logs
• Financial, payment, or banking information
• Browsing history or activity outside the App
• Social media profiles, credentials, or activity
• Google Advertising ID (GAID) on Android
• Apple Advertising Identifier (IDFA) on iOS
• Biometric data of any kind
• SMS, MMS, or call data
• Files, photos, videos, or documents on your device

4. Permissions Declared and Their Purpose

The following permissions are declared in the App. Each permission is used solely for the stated purpose and for no other reason.

iOS Permissions (Apple App Store)

5. How We Use Your Information

Information collected by the App is used exclusively for the following purposes:

• To identify your device within your cricket group without requiring a login
• To record and display your daily poll responses to group members
• To track and display attendance history for the last 30 days
• To calculate and display player statistics (streak, reliability score, days played, last played date)
• To manage group membership, join requests, and admin role assignments
• To schedule and deliver local poll reminder notifications

We do not use your information for advertising, user profiling, behavioral tracking, or any purpose beyond the core functionality described above.

6. Data Storage and Security

6.1 Local Storage

The following data is stored locally on your device and never transmitted to any server:

• Device UUID (cached after first Supabase sync)
• App theme preference (light/dark)
• Environment preference (UAT/Production)
• Local notification schedule data

6.2 Cloud Storage (Supabase)

The following data is stored in our Supabase cloud database:

• Device UUID and display name (user profile)
• Poll responses and attendance records
• Group data (name, members, admins)

Supabase uses industry-standard TLS/SSL encryption for all data in transit and AES-256 encryption for data at rest. Access to the database is controlled via Row Level Security (RLS) policies ensuring users can only access data belonging to their own groups.

6.3 Security Measures

We implement the following security measures to protect your data:

• All API communications use HTTPS/TLS encryption
• Database access is restricted via Supabase Row Level Security (RLS)
• No sensitive personal data is collected, reducing breach risk
• Device identifiers are non-reversible to personal identity

7. Third-Party Services

The App uses the following third-party service:

• Supabase (supabase.com): Used as the backend database, real-time data sync, and storage service. Supabase is SOC 2 Type II compliant. Their Privacy Policy is available at https://supabase.com/privacy and Terms of Service at https://supabase.com/terms.

No third-party analytics SDKs, advertising networks, crash reporting tools, social login SDKs, or tracking libraries are integrated in the App.

8. App Tracking Transparency (iOS — Apple)

CrickPoll does not use Apple's Advertising Identifier (IDFA) and does not track users across third-party apps or websites. The App Tracking Transparency (ATT) framework prompt is not triggered because no cross-app or cross-site tracking is performed. The App is fully compliant with Apple's ATT requirements.

9. Google Play Data Safety (Android)

In accordance with Google Play's Data Safety requirements, CrickPoll declares the following:

• Data collected: Device ID (App interactions category)
• Data shared: None shared with third parties for advertising or commercial purposes
• Data encrypted in transit: Yes
• Users can request data deletion: Yes — by contacting us
• Data collection is required: Yes — device ID is required for core app functionality

10. Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, trade, or share your data with any third parties for commercial purposes. Data may be shared only in the following strictly limited circumstances:

• With other members of your cricket group (poll responses, attendance, display name) — this is the core functionality of the App and you consent to this by joining a group
• With Supabase as our infrastructure provider, solely for the purpose of data storage and retrieval
• If required by applicable law, court order, or legal process
• To protect the rights, property, or safety of DIVYAM CREATION, our users, or the public

11. Data Retention

• Attendance records: Retained for 30 days, then automatically deleted
• Poll data: Retained for the duration of the group's activity
• Device profiles: Retained until the user requests deletion or the group is deleted
• Local device data: Retained until the App is uninstalled from the device

12. Children's Privacy

CrickPoll is rated 13+ on both Google Play Store and Apple App Store. The App is not directed at children under the age of 13 and does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

The App does not require any personal information (name, email, phone number) from any user regardless of age. The device identifier used contains no personally identifiable information.

If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child under 13 has used the App, please contact us immediately at [email protected]. We will take prompt action to delete any associated data.

We comply with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA), the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) for minors, and applicable child safety laws in all jurisdictions where the App is available.

13. Your Rights and Choices

Depending on your location, you may have the following rights regarding your data:

• Right to Access: Request information about what data is stored for your device identifier
• Right to Correction: Update your display name within the App at any time
• Right to Deletion: Request deletion of your device profile and all associated data by contacting us at [email protected]
• Right to Opt-Out of Notifications: Disable notifications at any time through your device Settings (Android: Settings > Apps > CrickPoll > Notifications; iOS: Settings > Notifications > CrickPoll)
• Right to Data Portability: Request a copy of your data by contacting us
• GDPR Rights (EU users): You have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict processing, and object to processing of your data
• CCPA Rights (California users): You have the right to know, delete, and opt-out of sale of personal information. We do not sell personal information.

14. Internet Usage Disclosure

The App requires an active internet connection to sync poll data, attendance records, and group information with the Supabase backend. Without internet access, the App will display locally cached data. All internet communications use HTTPS encryption. Notifications are scheduled locally on the device and do not require internet access to be delivered.

15. Storage Usage Disclosure

The App stores the following data locally on your device:

• Device UUID — a small text string (approximately 36 characters)
• Hardware device ID — used to regenerate UUID after reinstall
• App environment preference (UAT or Production)
• Theme preference (light or dark)
• Notification schedule data managed by flutter_local_notifications

The App does not write to external storage, SD card, or shared storage. It does not access your photos, videos, files, or documents.

16. International Data Transfers

Your data is stored on Supabase servers which may be located outside your country of residence. By using the App, you consent to the transfer of your data to Supabase's servers in accordance with this Privacy Policy. Supabase complies with applicable data protection laws including GDPR.

17. Do Not Track

The App does not track users across third-party websites or apps. The App does not respond to "Do Not Track" signals because it does not engage in the type of tracking that such signals are designed to prevent.

18. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, technology, legal requirements, or other factors. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this policy periodically. Continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.

By downloading and using CrickPoll, you confirm that you have read this Privacy Policy and consent to the collection and use of information as described herein.
