This Privacy Policy describes how Morpich Design ("we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, and protects information when you use the Water Reminder: Drink & Log Android application ("App"). By using the App, you agree to the practices described in this policy.

1. Information We Collect

1.1 Information You Provide

During onboarding and settings, you provide:

• Gender (Male / Female / Other)
• Age
• Body weight and preferred unit (kg / lbs)
• Activity level (Sedentary / Light / Active / Very Active)
• Reminder preferences (interval, quiet hours)

This information is stored only on your device using Android SharedPreferences. It is never transmitted to our servers.

1.2 Usage Data Stored Locally

• Daily water intake logs (amount, drink type, time)
• Daily goal progress and history
• Streak and achievement data
• Challenge participation and points

All of the above is stored locally on your device only.

1.3 Data Collected by Third-Party Services

The App integrates the following third-party SDKs which may collect data independently:

2. Permissions Declared & Justification

AD_ID (Google)	Used by AdMob to serve relevant advertisements
C2DM / Firebase	Used by Firebase for push notification infrastructure

3. How We Use Information

• To calculate and display your personalized daily water goal
• To schedule and deliver drink reminder notifications
• To display your intake history, streaks, and achievements
• To serve advertisements through AdMob and Facebook Audience Network
• To monitor app stability through Firebase Crashlytics
• To understand general app usage through Firebase Analytics

4. Data Storage & Security

All personal profile data and hydration logs are stored locally on your device using Android's SharedPreferences and internal storage. We do not operate any servers that store your personal data.

Third-party SDKs (AdMob, Firebase) may transmit anonymized data to their own servers. We do not have access to or control over that data.

5. Data Sharing

We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to any third party. Data may be shared only in the following circumstances:

• With third-party SDKs (AdMob, Firebase) as described in Section 1.3
• When required by law or legal process

6. Advertising & Ad ID

The App displays advertisements provided by Google AdMob and Facebook Audience Network. These services may use your device's Advertising ID to show relevant ads. You can reset or opt out of personalized ads through your device settings:

• Android: Settings → Google → Ads → Delete advertising ID or Opt out of Ads Personalization

7. Children's Privacy

The App is not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. The App collects age during onboarding solely to calculate an appropriate hydration goal. If you believe a child under 13 has provided personal information through the App, please contact us immediately at [email protected] and we will take steps to delete such information.

8. User Rights

Since all personal data is stored locally on your device, you have full control:

• Access: All data is visible within the App
• Correction: Update your profile anytime in Settings
• Deletion: Uninstall the App to delete all data permanently
• Notification control: Disable reminders anytime in Settings or device notification settings

9. GDPR Compliance

If you are located in the European Economic Area (EEA), the App presents a consent form powered by Google's User Messaging Platform (UMP) before displaying personalized advertisements. You may withdraw consent at any time through your device's ad settings.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted at the URL linked in the App's Play Store listing. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy. We recommend reviewing this page periodically.
