This Privacy Policy explains how Morpich Design ("we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, discloses, and protects user information when you use our Android application AudioConvert Pro ("the Application"). Please read this policy carefully before using the Application.

2. Information We Collect & Android Permissions Used

AudioConvert Pro requires specific system permissions to function as a video-to-audio converter, trimmer, merger, and ringtone maker. We collect and process the following data categories mapped directly to permissions declared in our AndroidManifest.xml:

• Device & Network Identifiers:
  • android.permission.INTERNET: Allows the Application to access network services for ad delivery, crash analytics, and app updates.
  • android.permission.ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE & android.permission.ACCESS_WIFI_STATE: Detects network connectivity status (Wi-Fi or Cellular).
  • com.google.android.gms.permission.AD_ID: Accesses the Google Advertising ID (AAID) for personalized or non-personalized advertising through Google AdMob and Meta Audience Network.
• Media & Storage Access:
  • android.permission.READ_MEDIA_VIDEO & android.permission.READ_MEDIA_AUDIO: Required on Android 13+ (API 33+) to allow you to select video files from your device gallery for conversion, and audio files for trimming, merging, and ringtone creation.
  • android.permission.READ_EXTERNAL_STORAGE & android.permission.WRITE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE: Used on legacy Android versions to read video inputs and save converted audio outputs.
  • Note: All media processing occurs 100% locally on your physical device hardware. Your personal video and audio files are NEVER uploaded, stored, or transmitted to any external server.
• Push Notifications & System Modifications:
  • android.permission.POST_NOTIFICATIONS: Delivers progress and completion updates for batch video conversions and background jobs.
  • android.permission.WRITE_SETTINGS: Allows the Application to apply your edited audio clips directly as custom call ringtones, notification sounds, or alarm tones upon your explicit request.
  • com.google.android.c2dm.permission.RECEIVE: Supports push message dispatch via Firebase Cloud Messaging.

3. Purpose of Data Processing

We process information exclusively for the following operational purposes:

• To extract, trim, merge, and convert media files locally on your device.
• To serve relevant advertisements via Google AdMob and Meta Audience Network mediation.
• To monitor app health, diagnose unexpected crashes via Firebase Crashlytics, and improve software performance.
• To comply with regional data privacy laws including GDPR and CCPA.

4. Advertising Networks & Policy Disclosures

To keep AudioConvert Pro free to download and use, we display advertisements in the Application using third-party advertising partners, specifically Google AdMob and Meta Audience Network (Facebook Ads Mediation). These ad networks may collect and process information about your device and app interaction in full compliance with Google Play Developer Policies and Meta Publisher Terms.

A. Google AdMob Disclosures

AudioConvert Pro utilizes Google AdMob to display banner, interstitial, and native advertisements. Google AdMob may collect and use:

• Google Advertising ID (AAID): A unique, user-resettable identification string provided by Android system services for advertising purposes.
• Device & Network Information: Device brand, model, screen resolution, operating system version, mobile network operator, and IP address.
• Ad Performance & Interaction Data: Impressions, clicks, and interaction metrics to prevent ad fraud and measure campaign effectiveness.

B. Meta Audience Network Disclosures

We use Meta Audience Network (operated by Meta Platforms, Inc.) as a mediated ad network partner to deliver relevant ads within the Application. Meta Audience Network may collect:

• Device Identifiers & Technical Specs: Android Advertising ID, IP address, device hardware parameters, and system language settings.
• Ad Interaction & App Usage Context: Information regarding ad impressions, taps, and performance metrics within our Application.

C. Opt-Out of Personalized Interest-Based Ads

You have the absolute right to opt out of interest-based personalized advertising at any time on your Android device:

• Android 12 & Newer: Go to Settings > Google > Ads > Delete Advertising ID to clear and disable your advertising profile across all apps.
• Android 11 & Older: Go to Settings > Google > Ads > Opt out of Ads Personalization and toggle the switch ON.
• EEA & UK Users (GDPR): You can adjust or withdraw your ad consent choices at any time directly inside the App Settings screen via the Google UMP consent form.

D. Additional Integrated Third-Party SDKs

The Application also integrates the following supporting infrastructure SDKs:

• Google User Messaging Platform (UMP): Obtains and stores user privacy choices for European Economic Area (EEA) and United Kingdom residents under GDPR.
• Firebase Analytics & Crashlytics: Collects anonymized diagnostics, device hardware info, and stack traces when errors occur to optimize software stability. Firebase Privacy Info.
• Google Play In-App Updates & Reviews API: Provides seamless app version updates and Google Play rating prompts.
• Glide Image Loading Library: Temporarily caches video thumbnail previews locally in private application memory.

5. Data Sharing Practices

We do NOT sell, rent, or trade your personal information. Data is only shared automatically with the third-party infrastructure providers listed in Section 4 to support ad rendering, crash reporting, and Google Play compliance.

6. Data Retention Period

• Media Files: Converted audio files remain stored locally on your device until you delete them.
• Crash & Diagnostic Logs: Anonymized crash logs collected via Firebase Crashlytics are retained for up to 90 days.
• Advertising Data: Advertising identifiers are managed dynamically and can be cleared at any time by resetting your device Google Advertising ID.

7. User Data Deletion Rights & Instructions

You have full control over your data deletion rights:

• Delete Local Files: Open the "My Files" screen in AudioConvert Pro or use any Android File Manager to delete generated audio files at any time.
• Reset/Delete Advertising ID: Go to Settings > Google > Ads > Delete Advertising ID on your Android device to clear your ad tracking profile.
• Revoke Permissions: Manage or revoke permissions via Settings > Apps > AudioConvert Pro > Permissions.
• Request Complete Data Deletion: Email us at [email protected] to request full removal of any associated diagnostic logs.

8. GDPR Compliance (European Economic Area & UK Users)

For users residing in the EEA or UK, data processing adheres to the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR):

• Consent & Choice: Explicit consent is requested via the Google UMP form upon initial app startup for ad personalization.
• Withdrawal: You can withdraw or adjust your consent choices at any time inside the App Settings screen.
• Rights: You have the right to access, rectify, restrict, or request erasure of your data under GDPR.

9. CCPA / CPRA Compliance (California Residents)

Under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), California residents have the following rights:

• Right to know what categories of personal information are collected.
• Right to request deletion of personal information.
• Right to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information (We do NOT sell user data).

10. Children's Privacy (COPPA)

AudioConvert Pro is NOT directed toward children under 13 years of age (or under 16 in the EU/UK). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we discover that a child has provided us with personal data, we will delete it immediately from our records.

11. Security Measures

We enforce strict security practices to safeguard data. All analytics and crash report transmissions utilize encrypted HTTPS (TLS 1.3) protocols. Local conversion operations execute in isolated sandbox environments.

12. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically to reflect app updates or regulatory changes. Updated policies will be posted on this page with a revised "Last Updated" date.

13. Governing Law

This Privacy Policy is governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws without regard to conflict of law principles.
